Amazon Best Seller / Amazon’s Choice rank within its sub-category, pulled from Amazon’s own live best-seller data rather than guesswork.

Rating and review volume. We favor listings with a meaningful number of reviews behind their star rating, since a handful of five-star reviews is a weaker signal than thousands.

Materials listed on the product page. For toys, we favor body-safe materials such as medical-grade silicone or ABS plastic, and phthalate-free labeling where listed.

Established brands. Where possible, we favor recognizable, established brands over unfamiliar or unlabeled listings.

Practical factors. For this category specifically, we also note things like discreet packaging, noise level, and battery life when a listing calls them out, since they are genuine purchase-decision factors here.

What We Don’t Do
